About Global Missions Teams (GMT)

Global Mission Teams work locally (with people of different nationalities) and globally (in many countries around the world).

A GMT is a group of Grace Fellowship people who adopt a people group or country and form a partnership with a Kingdom purpose.  The GMT forms a ministry partnership with the church and community to help make and grow followers of Jesus through holistic gospel initiatives.

KITS INCLUDE:

• 1 Washcloth (fun colors)
• 1 Travel sized soap
• 2 Freezer Zip-Lock bags (no sliders)
• 2 Girls Panties (size 10-16, fun colors)
• Three sewn items:
A DRAWSTRING BAG, 2 SHIELDS, and 8 LINERS.

 ABOUT:

What if not having sanitary supplies meant DAYS without school, DAYS without income, DAYS without leaving the house? Without proper hygiene and feminine products, girls use leaves, mattress stuffing, newspaper, corn husks, rocks, anything they can find…but still miss up to 2 months of school every year. It turns out this issue is a surprising but instrumental key to social change for women all over the world. The poverty cycle can be broken when girls stay in school.

OUR TEAM:

Meets monthly at Grace Fellowship. Typically the 2nd or 3rd Monday of the month.

Looking for people interested in cutting fabric, assembling kits, ironing, sewing and serging. YOU DON’T NEED TO SEW TO BE INVOLVED!

UPCOMING DATES:

7-9pm / RM 268 & 264
