Nate Bush

How long have you been a member of Grace Fellowship?

I have attended Grace Fellowship for about 7 years.

What do you do as a career?

I have worked in the Financial/Banking Industry for over 25 years.  I currently lead a team of Risk Professionals in the Consumer and Business Banking division of a bank.

Could you tell us about your family?

My wife Kathy and I have been married for 23 years and have four children: Brody-19, Andrew-17, Elliot-13, and Lucie-10.  Most days we are staying busy supporting the kids in school and in their extra-curricular activities in soccer, football, basketball, gymnastics, and golf to name just a few.  Our family participates in kid’s ministry, youth ministry, small groups and have served together at times in activities like the Simpson Shelter and the Food Trucks.

Where do you serve at Grace Fellowship?

Outside of the areas mentioned above Kathy and I serve together in Kid’s Ministry.  I also help in Men’s Ministry, occasionally with the Guest Services team, and was part of the search committee for the Youth Pastor search that brought TJ and Jenn McIntosh to Grace.

What are your passions?

I love my family and enjoy providing for them.  I want to lead and encourage them to be the best at what God has called them to be.  When I’m not leading and providing for my family, I am an avid soccer player.  I still play soccer at least twice a week year-round.

Why do you want to serve as an elected leader (Position) at Grace Fellowship?

God has recently been encouraging me to listen to and look for opportunities to serve him in a greater capacity using my leadership skills and experience in the church.  I believe I can bring a unique perspective to the role being that I am a PK (pastor’s kid), have a brother who is a pastor, and have been in and around the church my whole life.  I subscribe to Grace’s mission of helping people experience grace by leading and loving our cities and am looking for ways to continue to contribute to that mission.
