BAPTISM

Happens on the 1st Sunday of the month during both services.

We believe that a child must be old enough to understand what it means to put their faith in Jesus Christ before they get baptized.

CHILD DEDICATION

As a church we can celebrate and commit to supporting young families as they raise their children to know and love Jesus.

We have a Child Dedication 4x a year during our morning services.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Do I have to dedicate my child when they are an infant?

Children can be any age when they are dedicated.

What do I need to bring with me?

Bring your friends, family, and child (don’t forget them at home!)

What time should we arrive?

The services start at 9 AM and 10:30 AM sharp. Arrive 30 minutes prior to the service and meet Pastor Kenyonna at the front of the stage by the cross (opposite of baptismal).

What should we wear?

Whatever you and your little one will feel most comfortable in! Some people dress casually in jeans, while others wear more formal attire.

Is this an infant baptism?

No. We believe that a child must be old enough to understand what it means to put their faith in Jesus Christ before they get baptized. This event is an opportunity for you as parents to publicly declare that you want to raise your child to develop their own relationship with Jesus Christ.

Will there be water involved in the dedication?

No water will be used for this celebration. This is a verbal expression from the family and the church congregation to help point the child to Jesus.

What can I expect on Sunday services?

Please let Pastor Kenyonna know which of the two services you will be attending 9 AM or 10:30 AM. Arrive 30 minutes prior to the service and meet Pastor Kenyonna at the front of the stage by the cross (opposite of baptismal). You won’t have to speak into a microphone, Pastor Kenyonna will introduce your family and ask you to affirm 3 questions about raising your child to know Jesus.
